West Palm Beach’s chef-driven restaurant, Avocado Grill features coastal, farm-to-table cuisine vis-à-vis small plates with an artisanal twist and a full raw bar, courtesy of renowned Chef Julien Gremaud.
Divided into distinct sections, Avocado Grill’s menu serves avocado, salads, veggies, land, sea, pasta, and large plates.
Entrees include fresh Ceviche, Seared Scallops, Chicken Paillard with Arugula Salad, and Stuffed Crispy Zucchini Blossoms. Housemade desserts are prepared daily and a comprehensive drink menu features wines, roses, champagnes, and craft cocktails.
Known for his ultra-seasonal, eco-conscious cooking, Chef Gremaud has cultivated a network of local farmers, fishermen, and fruit and vegetable growers to supply guests with the freshest sea-, field- and farm-to-table fare possible.
“Nothing excites me more than working with local artisans and purveyors to create inspired dishes our patrons can savor again and again,” says Gremaud.
Serving Locally Grown Foods
Before the advent of modern transportation, preservatives and consumerism, eating close to the earth was a necessity, not an option.
Avocado Grill is proud to serve patrons its artisanal menu featuring locally sourced ingredients. As part of Avocado Grill’s mission and vision, serving farm-to-table fare benefits not only our valued patrons and guests, but also our local and global environments.

Famed for his boundless creativity in the kitchen, Chef Julien Gremaud has been delighting exacting palettes for nearly two decades. In Fall 2014, Gremaud launched his first solo project, West Palm Beach’s hottest culinary destination, Avocado Grill. The restaurant opened to critical acclaim and has become an immediate hit with diners across South Florida. Since the opening, Chef Gremaud has been named a Rising Star Chef by the Palm Beach Post while the restaurant received the Best New Restaurant title for 2014. Additionally, Chef Gremaud was named a South Florida Business and Wealth Magazine Up & Comer and Avocado Grill was Zagat rated, named an Open Table Diner’s Choice award recipient listed on USA Today’s 10 Best and named Best New Restaurant by New Times.
Chef Gremaud’s lifetime of culinary experience began while growing up in glittering St. Tropez. He first gained culinary inspiration from his mother, a talented toque in her own kitchen. At 14, he took a job as a professional pantry chef. Soon after, he left France to hone his cooking and administrative skills at several of the finest restaurants in the UK. In 2000, he moved across the pond and held consecutive positions at two of Chicago’s leading French restaurants, Le Francais and Le Vichyssois. In 2002, Gremaud headed to the Sunshine State to become a personal chef to some of the most notable names in South Florida – Jupiter Island and Palm Beach, respectively.
He joined Pistache French Bistro as a restaurant consultant then moved up to executive chef within weeks. His innovative approach to Francophile cuisine quickly transitioned the restaurant into a food critic favorite, garnering numerous accolades. Two years later, he was promoted to partner and co-opened Palm Beach’s famed seafood eatery, PB Catch.
In spite of a non-stop schedule, Gremaud has been a frequent participant in the many local charity events that mark the Palm Beach social calendar. On the occasional day off, he spends time with his wife, Tristan, and their Labrador Retrievers. He also enjoys spinning at his turntable (he’s been DJing since he was a teenager) and traveling around the world to source exotic ingredients and non-traditional culinary practices.
